I don't like to be negative about the club hierarchy, but I can see us all looking back at this season as a huge missed opportunity because we didn't improve in January. The league is wide open, we have one of the best managers in the world, and our squad is good but so thin.
What if the funds/wages just aren't there thought? People just presume we're loaded right now mid-pandemic.

Still think Carlo puts a good poker face on during the press conferences. If this Fabrizo Romano says we have been talkingwoth Bayern about Zirkzee i believe that. It is Carlo's way of not giving anything away and keeping current players happy.

Not only to reinforce the squad with an extra player, also to show the team we plan to make the most out of this season and our current position. Bringing in another player would be a moral boost for the supporters and the squad. If we know its thin, they know it too.
