What if the funds/wages just aren't there thought? People just presume we're loaded right now mid-pandemic.
We don't really need that much money, surly there's a player that could come in on loan that's a better option than Tom Davies coming off the bench.. we'd pick up Adam Armstrong from Blackburn for maybe 10 million and Besic, a better option than Tuson.

I said this a week or so back. The club as a business has no money to spend. The only way we have money, is if the owner puts more in, Its fine to want him to do that, and there are criticisms of Moshiri but he has made enormous financial commitments and if he's not willing to dig into his pockets again, he's earned the right not to be criticised for that.

The reality is, were it not for him now, we woud be looking at a firesale between now and the summer. Digne, DCL, Richarlinson would all be being sold, probably below market value. There should be some gratitude that his investment has at least prevented that scenario.

We are also trying to bring 1 or 2 in. In the context of thios January, thats more than most.

1. You can't just invent cash + player deals like you can playing FIFA.
2. How do you know Armstrong will do better in the PL than Tosun?

Anyone who can score 16 goals in half a championship season is better than Tuson. Christ he was the only available striker in the squad for the last game and Carlo still had him on the bench, that tells me all I need to know about a striker if he's on the bench and there's no strikers in the first 11.

Again, that doesn't mean he is automatically going to be better than Tosun (please spell a 5 letter name right) for £10-15m whatever they'll ask.

Michael Chopra also used to slot a lot in the Championship.

That is exactly what I have been trying to get across to folk, we do not have the money unless we can sell to get a bit but that seems unlikely as that deadwood will not leave. It is nothing to do with who is right between Carlo and Marcel they are both working to get the club back into the top. Wish folk would appreciate that.

If not for Moshi we would most likely have been in the Championship now and stuck in a rundown stadium.

Yes all fair. I mean the criticism is he has allowed a lot of the bad investments to come through lack of control. You can't have your cake and eat it though, and when we start shpwing some control we complain. We are trying for players, if they are the right players at the right price they will come. Im comfortable with that. We can't get lumbered again.
