Amazing how FFP doesn't matter to clubs like them who throw just as much dough around as we do.

And we're the ones with the shady USM sponsers propping up the accounts!

Sanson would have been a good upgrade on Davies and Jose an upgrade on Toshun but again no decent players around on the cheap apparently.
There is obviously more of a gamble in Jan but with European places being so wide open surely signing a backup is worthy but oh no that's having a meltdown

Kyle Walker Peters looking a class act again today against Arsenal. He’d be an astute signing next summer. Just signed a five year contract and fee to Spurs was 12m so he’ll be expensive but looks excellent.

You ever thought once that maybe, just maybe we don’t sign these players because they aren’t on our radar? What fans see as ideal based on 1-2 games they get to see every so often on TV isn’t the same as professional scouts watching hours of video and so on

Its not the individual players as such - its more other clubs seem not to give a toss about FFP whereas we are terrified of stepping over the line.

Wolves got a slap on the wrist this year over it yet still lashed £35 million on some kid who's nowhere near ready. Obviously they then sold Jota but it wasn't as if that was the plan all along.

Villa sold their own ground to the owners to get around FFP and have lashed about £200 million in 2 years on players whilst giving bumper contracts to the likes of Grealish.

We don't really even need to spend big just 1-2 signings be it loans or £15-20 million deals to upgrade on the unadulterated trash we have sat on the bench every week.

If FFP is such a concern call the ground USM Goodison Park until BMD is built with some more dough coming in to keep the accounts ticking over.

Can we not get Ramos in for a couple of seasons for one last pay day? It has to be worth it, just to see thousands of heads exploding across the park

I mean, c'mon, like he's gonna end his glittering career here haha. He's not even leaving is he.

Yeah, we could be like Bolton years ago when they had Fernando Heirro and Ivan Campo, but with Champions League and trophies

For the first time in a long, long time, I don't think we need to sign a centre back any time soon.

Michael Keane is vastly improved, Mina is generally a lot better than 12/18 months ago, and Holgate and Godfrey have already proven that they are capable and full of promise for the future.

Branthwaite didn't look out of place when he played and he's got a chance to improve while at Blackburn.

We're well and truly covered at left back with Digne and Nkounkou, we just need a long-term right back option. I'm sure Carlo knows this and will plug that particular gap in the summer.

Even Pickford is looking decent, at least he hasn't messed up in a good while. It's only going to help him playing behind a settled defence.

We're safe in central midfield with Gomes looking fine off the bench and Doucouré and Allan looking great when starting. I can't see Davies being sold so I don't think Carlo will add another CM in the summer. Can't see any takers for Sigurdsson so he's the 5th option at CM.

Iwobi is getting better, and DCL and James are both great. Richarlison needs to improve and I'm sure he will. At least if he's sold we'll get good money to replace him with two players - ideally a wide left player and a striker. I think we'd get 40-60m for Richarlison.

Prioritise signing a starting right back and a young but promising striker / experienced, proven striker happy to rotate, then try to find a wide player who can play on either wing.

Sell/release Delph, Lössl, Sigurdsson, Tosun, Kenny, Bernard, Kean (estimating around 50-60m for the lot). Desperately try to offload Baningame who, by some miracle, has until 2022 on his contract.

Bolasie, Besic, Pennington, Walcott all out of contract and are leaving anyway.

That's 12 players out who offer us absolutely nothing at all.

Bring in 2 new players, 3 if we include Olsen, and, providing Gbamin returns one day, that gives us a squad of about 25 players for hopefully a European campaign next year.

Will get more than Lukaku.

For Richarlison? Doubt it - his performances this season won't be attracting much attention. He's been well and truly overshadowed by £1m DCL and questions have been asked about his maturity and attitude. I think we would get slightly more than we paid for him. I'd love to be wrong though!

Mate I don’t know how Kean will get 50/60 while you said Richy will fetch merely 40.

genuinely don;t know how you look at the midfield and say "oh we're set there". Gomes has got to be the slowest player in the entire league and Tom Davies, who has played like someone who has played football at least twice in his life this season, isn't really GOOD at anything. Ideally Gblammo could be the backup to Allan and Doucoure but that sure won't be this year.
