Everton January transfer window 2021

He is taken a space or peg away from a kid who never had the chance. He wanted to train with the first team, moaned that he was fit and that the club have an agenda against him but he has had multiple opportunities to leave including playing first team at Villa during a promotion push but he personally terminated his own loan because our manager got sacked and he thought he could just walk back into the squad.

All his social media marketing of being positive and bigging up Everton is all good and well but he is a blockage - both financially and physically.

Without going all Koeman, his locker space like a few others, could be used by a Gordon, Small or other kid who wants his opportunity to fight for his Everton future.

Sporting Lisbon, Championship Aston Villa and Anderlecht, Middlesbrough (linked) are nowhere near Everton and Premier League football.

If he truly and I mean truly believed he is better than what Everton have, why hasn't he moved? Why hasn't he proved Everton wrong?

He is Deluded Fraud and the sooner he is gone the better for all, he gets to play football instead of kicking a ball in his garden and we can bring up a U23 player.
All of this is 100% accurate.

Sadly I suspect that Bolasie himself will refuse to agree to a loan move to Turkey (based on the last year or so of him being perfectly content to take £70k a week to sit at home). He does, of course, have the right to exercise a choice - and we have the right to slate him for it.

IF we are seriously looking at Dzeko to add some experience up front then Costa should be ahead of him in the queue.
Costa is younger, proven in the Premiership and available on a free,
It's almost as if some people refuse to learn.

We aren't in a position to sign an ageing striker on huge wages just because he's out of contract. We need to be looking at loans.

Zirkzee and / or Dzeko on loan for the next five months are far better choices than signing anyone permanently.

Plus, Costa is utter scum.

So you'd prefer to pay a sizable loan fee + his sizeable wages rather than just another player's sizeable wages?
If we gave Costa an 18 month contract then we could get back all of his wages by selling him on the cheap in the summer if it wasn't working out.

Yeah but it’s difficult to sell a bad player, the last few seasons have shown you that.

Athletico are having trouble enough selling him now themselves, we would have an even tougher time when he’s 18 months older and on a longer contract

In terms of transfers linked with moves away I'd say that none of Bolasie, Kenny, Bernard or Tosun have an impact on the starting XI or even match day squad (maybe Tosun) so if they stay or go it doesn't matter.

I mean if we can get £15-20m for those 4, we would all be made up but their wages are astronomical for such bit part players.

We have an abundance of south americans already and from a number of nationalities. And they seem to get on extremely well with each other. Am not sure that throwing Costa into that mix would be a wise move. Combustible lad that he is. He also would not play second fiddle to DCL, ego is a funny muscle.

I'd personally sign Ferguson back on an 18 month contract, knows the club, trains with the lads every day and still has all his own hair.

You have to admit they were slightly talented

Didnt alli scored 46 goals in 146 games in his first three seasons at spurs

When was the last time we had a midfielder produce those kind of numbers? Cahill?

Also lingard was known for scoring in cup finals and turning up in the big games. Given that we haven’t won a derby at anfield since the Kevin Campbell days we could do with a big game player.

Big game player off to West Ham to team up with big game Moyes.

Bernard and Delph are huge issues with regards to the wages thing, saw an article the other day that said we have paid Bernard £9m+ in wages since he has been here (which is just ludicrous) for a player who offers so little and hardly ever starts a game.

If Tosun. Bernard and Kenny all go, with Simms and Branthwaite already gone, we would be extremely light on squad options. I'm absolutely fine with them all going, but we'd need at least one coming in to counter it. Bernard isn't great but he's made literally every single matchday squad this season, we just can't afford to let players like that go without replacing them.

Get off that fence.
