Look, i get it, thanks for all the middle fingers, I've apologised, can't retract or delete it. Didn't think it would offend. Clearly misjudged reaction. I've seen horrendous posts in here before, way more offensive than what I put. However, no more fingers, said what I said and apologised.

We can still set up to be hard to beat and are very effective from set pieces. We can continue to pick up points even against the better teams. We tried to move on from that against both Newcastle and West Ham and came unstuck.

We can and will win games without playing well. Am I happy with that. No not really I'd much rather we were out there kicking arse every week.

My main concern now is numbers to cover the front 3 positions
Bang on, that. I was happy we set up more attacking (on paper) against Newcastle and then quickly realised that we're not ready to make that step yet. The second half of the season should see us revert back to "hard to beat" mode and hopefully back to winning ways.

I seem to recall a good few 1-0 snoozefest wins the season we finished fourth and, funnily enough, nobody talks about the style of play from that season now.

If we DO get a forward player in, it'll be interesting to see what type of player he is. A lot of shouts for (and against) Costa this window but I think we'd do better to get a versatile player that can play across the front 3 or 4 positions to maximise his usefulness to the squad.
