If this is true You’ve got to wonder why wouldn’t they want to come here, Ancelotti one of the worlds best managers, owners with a few Bob, we have some decent players, Gueye knows the club, King it’s a jump up in leagues. All I can think is other deals haven’t allowed it to happen.

We could sell our unwanted players if there were buyers... but there are not any.
It isn't Marcel Brands who will be hawking these players around Europe it is the agents who have a vested interest in getting a fee for the player and if they can't do it then there simply are no buyers.
We know that Covid has completely supressed the market and seeing the league champions spending 2m on a journeyman centre half from the championship shows that more clearly than anything.

What we do see clearly now is the players the manager wants to work with and those he feels he doesn't need , even if that means leaving us very tight on numbers.

I do believe we will bring a player or two on loan until the end of the season.

Why does he have to be a Lukaku?

Because Lukaku was an absolute class player here, DCL done ok but I’m still not sure he will be the striker to lead us to the champions league or even Europa , Lukaku certainly would have been. Basically Lukaku is so much better than our Dom.

They were run out of town years ago mate sadly. I think things have gotten a bit tighter information wise with Brands at the club these days.
