Better than who? Because I would say that’s very questionable, you can say Bernard, but even with James out, he’s still not getting a look In. Let’s have it right Gray wouldn’t get a game for us either, He’s very average.

We need to be targeting much better than him, so when Richarlison is out, or out of form we can have somebody who can make a difference, same with James or DCL. I’d go after depay, ok might be difficult to convince him, but going cheap in January and yes we all know he can be a bit of a tit, but he’s a class player and miles better than gray. And he can play across the front 3 positions.

Our first team are solid, but we need depth. Gray would give us some energy and pace off the bench so I’d be happy with him

So would usain bolt. He’s got 10 goals in 132 games, he’s pants. We should be going to Leicester and buying their best player, if we won’t to be serious players. Not some fringe player, who can’t even get a game when they have injuries or rotating.

Ask yourself this would Leicester buy Bernard off us.

If Gray goes to a club that’s in a better league than the championship he’s done very well.

Tried my hand at scouting a RB on transfermrkt.. came down to Emerson, Aarons and mukiele ... I like the height Holgate gives us at RB and it’s a real strength .. so for that Mukiele ticks that box... Aarons isn’t the tallest but isn’t too short.. no idea honestly about any of them in reality.. so I’ll just leave it there

reason I’m not keen on Lamptey.. I feel it’s going to undermine his defensive ability in the long run.

deffo add him to the list.. decent stats too..and he is a unit as said above.. and at his age would be a ready made starter.. RB is THE position we need to solve for the long term sooner rather than later

don’t know how these valuations work. Aarons is 15th most valuable RB.. Dest seems to be spoken of in some forums edit: never mind Dest.. see recent move to to Barca..

I spent ages remembering that coach in Roberto's team and then googling him and can confirm Dennis Lawrence is from Trinidad and Tobago.

So in short, no we haven't to the best of my knowledge which is the only standard I care about.

Just checked and Aarons is the same height as Seamus Coleman. he looks smaller on the telly! Or maybe the Wiki entry is incorrect ! Not seen much of him but he looks a tidy footballer and likes to get forward
