Everton play like 'Stoke'

this is brilliant, gerrards gonna feel a bit silly now..hopefully this will lead to more divisions in the dressing room etc...and implosion will follow, maybe

Ooft. Are those the type of put-downs you're on about mate? The RS won't know what's hit em...

You really think all this talk is going to win us games? If so, you are as deluded as they are.

But yeah, that's bound to work. Let's have a pop at them and they're bound to sh*t themselves and bend over for us. First port of call should be that little rat Suarez. I reckon if we slate him for his diving in the build-up he'll be knocked sideways by the weight of our sheer disapproval. He's bound to have a God awful game like he did on Sunday. I mean he only scored two, forced an OG and injured our best player without diving once. Didn't seem to have any extra fire in his belly or anything. Yep, worked a treat.

Let's keep doing that.

Nah, lets keep doing what you're purporting because thats proved a real winner against this mob.

The beauty of accepting sh1te, as per your inference, is it takes no effort, passion or heart. A simple laissez-faire mindset which sees us crashing into the champions league year on year, racking up scintillating cup wins and dominating the derby matches means this boy scout attitude is a real winner ...... oh hang on!!!

I'll have a cardigan (XL please) when you're back from church.

The Yanks have instructed him, like they did with Dogleash, hopefully with the same outcome!!

Would've had more respect for him if he stuck with his original comments. Saying "sorry for what I said, I was too emotional to control myself" might indicate he's going through some weird male menopause, but I had no sympathy when my mum had it so I certainly won't for a man whose eyebrows are also his hairline.

Anyone else get the impression Jags held back a little because he had the next England call-up in mind?

Jagileka's 'defence' consisted of conceding that "we play long balls" and "we can play direct". ****ing hell, with a defence like that you dont need attacking by others.

Gerrard's 'apology' was a complete pisstake designed to reinforce what he'd said earlier but just by saying he maybe went a little too far...the original charge was, and still is, in place though.

They really have taken the piss here post match and Everton's been left standing like a shower of mugs. Call me old fashioned but you have to fight fire with fire. The reaction from the club has been ****ing pitiful as they've wiped their feet all over our reputation.

Pathetic.

If we come back with a response we will just get the "bitter" tag,the most important people US,know their(RS) game and what they are all about and have done for donkeys years, everyone else are only now just getting on to it,I wouldn't worry too much mate, the redsh*te falling on their own sword is a seemingly weekly occurrence these days, just sit back, chill out and enjoy the show!!

Completely disagree with this. Read any comments section on any site and all football fans all fully aware of how pathetic Liverpool and Gerrard are. Silence is golden, and he was no doubt looking for a reaction with his comments. Instead, he looks like more of a tit now and has run back with his tail between his legs.

i thought this when i read it.

I think the general concensus is that Gerrard looks a sad, bitter tosspot, but I agree with Dave about Jagielka's defence of us. What defence?

Some people are taking these comments far too seriously. He said it to wind us up, and looks a fool because of it. If you're getting annoyed about it you're letting him win.

Too little......

.....too late.

They've blitzed us post match, and it matters a lot.

The people who run our club are so naive when it comes to Liverpool. You just cant treat them like any other club. And especially after the Benitez small club jibe I'd have expected Moyes to have learned a lesson to go to the media after a fiery encounter with them bristling with intent to grab control of the story. He was too focused on defending his own pre-match comments and his own reputation he's let that tit Rodgers waltz into our backyard and give a one-sided version of events...worse still it's been carried on for two days by his captain and still we haven't hit back.

You can call it 'no big dea'l or us 'being classily understated' if you like. I'll call it what it is: a capitulation.

He has apologised now so it should be left to lie.

He now looks a right [Poor language removed] for his initial comments, as he basically has come out and said he did it from frustration because they did not get it all their own way for a change and everyone is picking on poor Luis.

Disagree mate. Think they've made themselves look like idiots post match. Just like Alex Ferguson did after his comments when we were the better team against them. I live in Newcastle, i was playing football with a load of Newcastle fans last night who were taking the piss out of Gerrard for sounding so bitter, and saying that we out classed them for most of the game.
