As much as I hate Stevie Me, he gets my respect - just this once - for backtracking on his comments. His defence of Low Sewers is crazy though, then again with all the focus on Sewers diving, there is less focus on Stevie Me doing it all the time and getting away with it. I dare any ref to give Stevie a yelllow card for diving - will not ever happen.

In a way I agree, Why has Moyes or the club captain not come out and ridiculed the utter bile he came out with after the game and made him look like the bitter over the hill [Poor language removed] he is

What would be the point in that? They have dug themselves a hole without our help. Us coming out and saying something would only make things worse and in all honesty who really cares what they or other people say? They can say what they want. We are above them in the table as we were last season. I'd much rather just concentrate on the football than on pathetic mind games or shouting matches that would only end up making us seem like the bitter ones rather than us.

We've missed an opportunity to redress the psychological imbalance that affects every conflict with that club.

The Everton forums are full of ire against the rancid crew across the park, wouldn't have taken much to reflect the fans views for a change.

Then again when have this lot ever been in tune with the fans?
