Everton play like 'Stoke'

Good point that. I did admire Moyes for playing it cool with regards to Suarez diving celebration... But part of me wanted him to say " I wouldnt mind my coin back if you interview him later ! "

It's like you have a crusade to make yourself look dimmer with every post - well done, it's going well.

Dim? Laughing here.

Meanwhile, your enormous respect for Liverpool and everything they do is coming through loud and clear. Do I want my club to act more like Liverpool? No. Not at all. If that makes me dim then I don't want to be bright.

Long balls aren't the most effective way of playing football, though or Stoke would be winning the champions League rather than Barcelona and Norway rather than Spain would be dominating international football.

For all we know Moyes may have had a word with the Referees and FA after the match behind close doors.

Which I prefer. I don't want us running to the media every time something happens. That's what the Kopites, United and others do.

I would rather Moyes complain face to face with the Authorites than whore EFC business to papers and Sky.

Most goals in Football are scored from inside the box.. Why not cut to the chase and get the ball into the box as soon as possible ?

Nobody can say whether we would have a better record in any game if every time some nasty people said something bad about us we cried back.

During the Joe Royle era where we he didn't lose we never did, against Roy Hodgson we never cried in the media and won the game. We didn't cry before the FA cup replay or before the Campbell derby or before the 3-0, etc.

I think some people are talking way too matter of factly about our attitude and its effect on results. The place you win games is on the pitch and over the last few years we haven't been good enough. My opinion is that I am in much doubt that a few mischosen words on a Thursday (or in this case 5/6 months before the next derby) are going to make much difference.

Exactly mate, to hear some on here you'd think we were fighting a propoganda war against a well oiled military machine.

When the reality is that we're talking about some bell end Ulsterman & his bone headed captain, spitting bile & deflecting away from their own obvious inadequacies after pissing away a 2 goal lead in the derby & the latter feeling a genuine sense of unease as to the quality of the opposition, hence his transparent, out dated, ****ty attempt at a put down.

The next derby will be won on the grass, same as all the others, there's a change in the tide, we witnessed it on Sunday. No shiite side that I've ever seen would have lost a 2 goal lead in a derby at all, let alone as meekly as that lot did. Gerrard knows they're no better than us now, the gulf in class has gone, the days of them being on a different level to us are history, & he's stewing on that reality.

Let them all stew in their own piss & wallow in their faux sense of superiority. They've become a parody of themselves of late, & the press have cottoned on to it, they've been boxing shadows this week, like some pissed up old tramp & it's been hilarious. I can partly understand the older lads wanting to see a sleeves rolled up street fight (as there's been times when it's been called for & we've let them off the hook), but I think this time they're mis-guided, as we've been better served sitting back & laughing.
