@atrottel it would be cool to see comments on the lads even if they've not +/-ve, still be interesting I think ;)
Some of the tweets from the Stockport feed:
Excellent work by Thorniley, who beats Harewood to the ball to break up a Nuneaton attack, before finding Odejayi upfield.

Harewood dances past Thorniley and into the County area, before shooting straight at Hurst, as half-time approaches.

Ooh! A Dyson shot from distance curls its way goal-wards. Smith tips it up onto his bar, before gratefully catching

Dyson skips past Nawton on the left, before sending over a cross - but Smith is well placed to claim and catch.

A Dyson delivery from the right is cut out by Smith. Good spell for County, following the substitutions.

League One
Wigan: Francisco Junior - was not in squad for 1-0 home win against Crewe Alexandra, apparent hamstring strain
Wigan: Jonjoe Kenny - back in first team, played whole match
Wigan match report
Fan forum comments:
"We really missed Junior in there to set the tone, he is our best technical player and we need him to keep the side ticking over. He was the link between midfield and attack which turns this performance into the performance we saw against Scunny when it all clicks."
"Kenny is a weak link but that's because he is so young and inexperienced."

National League North
Stockport County: Calum Dyson - played whole game in 0-3 away loss to Stalybridge Celtic
Stockport County: Jordan Thorniley - played whole game
(Stockport had two players sent off in first half.)

Relevant Stockport tweets:
2-0 Stalybridge (70'). McKenna rifles home a thunderbolt from the edge of the area, following a goal-line clearance by Thorniley.

Two sources I saw had Kenny down as left back, anything you've seen in reports indicating this?
Hadn't read anything about that myself. One of the tweets I saw today said a shot from Kenny came from the right side of the box, which would be unlikely if he was left back. (He was also yellow-carded late on in the match, which I'd missed.)

(In a related Wigan-EFC connection, James Vaughan is being rumoured to be in talks to join them from Huddersfield.)

National League North
Stockport County: Calum Dyson - scored goal five minutes after coming on as second-half sub in 3-2 away win at Fylde
Stockport County: Jordan Thorniley - on bench

Relevant Stockport tweets:
2-1 County (72')!! Dyson fires home from close range, after Rule's short free kick is crossed from the right by Morton!!

A report I read had the lineup as 3-5-2 , with Kenny 4th named outside player , hence me initially puzzled as to whether he was played at left back, whereas he seems to have played right midfield by the sound of it.

One player we've missed so far

Russell Griffiths has been at Northwich Victoria.

He's played 4 games and only conceded 1 goal.

On England duty today and has been replaced by.....Mason Springthorpe.

"
Griffiths missed Northwich’s 2-1 win at Witton Albion on Bank Holiday Monday after heading to St George’s Park to link up with the 20 man Three Lions squad and he is set to miss their home game with Ossett Albion this weekend.

Before his call-up, the teenager stopper played a key role in taking Jim Gannon’s side to the top of the table, keeping three clean sheets and conceding just one goal in his fourth and final outing, an injury time strike for Radcliffe Borough in last Saturday's 2-1 win for Northwich at Stainton Park.

Proud club secretary and spokesman Dave Thomas said: “It’s not every day that your keeper gets called up to play for England so we're delighted.

"He’s only conceded the once and he wasn’t at fault for that either so we’ve been very grateful to have him and are hoping we can persuade Everton to let him extend his stay with us.”
