Everton players out on loan (2015/16)

We really need to stop loaning out Garbutt, he's 22 so it's about time we decided if we are going to play him or if we'll sell him

I'd say Garbutt is 4th choice for this season only which he's fortunately on loan for. Next season I can see Bryan moving on as I don't think he's as good as any of the others and will be on higher wages. Galloway is playing well there but next season I think he has to be moved inside to cover for Jags who'll be 35 and might not manage the amount of games we'll be playing which would to me put Baines 1st and Garbs 2nd.
Jags doesn't turn 35 until August 2017.

I don't think that Garbutt should be considered 4th choice merely because he's out on loan. You have to look at a range of factors here, he wanted (and needs) regular game time - injury to Baines or not, to have to try and compete against a solid pick like Baines means it's pretty unlikely you're going to get much pitch time. Oviedo is a LB/winger, and Galloway is a CB filling in as an LB. If Garbutt wasn't on loan I reckon he'd be playing ahead of Galloway, imo.

Everything is working out fine for Garbutt as far as I'm concerned. Baines isn't superhuman, he is obviously going to decline over the forthcoming years and Garbutt is well placed to succeed him. Oviedo will probably move on and Galloway will eventually revert to CB alongside Stones.

Plus Galloway is going to be Baines' replacement and Baines won't be gone for a while yet so Garbutt could probably leave soon anyway

Galloway is a centre half lad.martinez is just playing him there while baines is injured.bobby seems to like his young centre halfs to play a bit at full back probably get them used to playing the ball and being comfortable with it on the deck.useful to when he goes to 3 centre halfs and wing backs that the two outer centre halfs are comfortable on the ball and can play it out rather than hoofing it.

Yes.. Wasn't saying Hibbo was a left back. Just curios as to why people want him gone when he can still off us something
But where though?he is there awhile now and has never nailed down a starting spot or even looked close to doing so.good option for cover but maybe he doesnt fancy sitting on the bench either at this stage of his career.

Let's hope first and foremost that Luke stays in the first team for Fulham and isn't benched for this other fellow. It would stall his development if he couldn't force himself into the starting eleven of a Championship side, even if he's just returned from injury. Give him a couple of more games and he'll gel better with his teammates and I'm sure he'll outperform the others, or so I hope.

He's on the substitutes list v Reading today.
