Well not really a change because we are garbage - why presume I think we have an awesome winning team hahahaha.

We are in the gutter, but because I think Sam Allardyce isnt the answer you think I rate our squad??
If sam isn't the answer to sorting out a squad in disarray, who is?

But we're not not at all.

We're not

I have some news for you Matthew.

We are.

I just can't see at all who the answer is THIS season mate. People seem to be flapping thinking about 3 or 4 years down the line, but why? Our Premier League status is under it's biggest threat for nearly 2 decades. What are people seeing to think this can possibly take us backwards from where we already are?

We arent Michael we aren't
Pretty sure no team has ever conceded the amount we have at this stage of the season and not been relegated.

It needs sorting, starting with West Ham.

And I've watched West Ham, they've looked better than us easily - as have Palace.

Who exactly would you want otherwise brother?

I think we are far and away the worst I have ever seen us, Sam is probably the only answer given the situation - and the situation is absolutely dire.

People saying 'one win takes us to 11th' aren't seeing the bigger picture, we've not had a single good performance since the start of pre season because we are awful and the only thing that has changed is the excuse.

It's like a broken record mate trying to explain that's it's not the end of March and were in the bottom 3 sinking. Two wins from top ten isn't it.... I'm CERTAIN that any new manager would have a positive effect. It does not and should not be fat Sam. It's. Beyond shameful

Fair play, I understand your point - but there's literally a choice of Pulis, Allardyce and O'Neil...

None of the other managers mentioned were ever ever going to come here imo

I've a feeling some forum member will only see it when we are rock bottom and 9 points adrift...and too late!

People keep saying "who is" in 5/6 weeks we should have been able to do enough due diligence on the managers in world football who could have an interest in coming, who fit a template we want at the club. Non of the managers follow the same suit, one is a percentage football lover, ones a long ball merchant, ones a high pressing manager, ones a passing manager.

What are we trying to be? The important of this appointment goes past who it is in my opinion.

there is plenty of good managers out there who would have been interested in this job, my belief is that we dont look at anyone who hasn't got prem experience - Marco Silva 100% would not be on the boards mind last year if we where in this situation then, we are not brave or bold enough to do something different.

I just don't think Sam Allardyce is the answer to do with anything with our club...

Well on the basis that most people's defence of Allardyce appears to be that he kept Sunderland up, why not Paolo Di Canio, Gus Poyet or Dick Advocaat, who did exactly the same thing? Poyet actually took over at exactly the same stage of the season as Allardyce and got 6 points more, so he seems a better candidate to me. WELCOME GUS.
