Everton reopen talks with Sam Allardyce

Usually with Everton, I can kid/convince myself of the positives.

Allardyce, Lee and Shakespeare represent what's wrong with the game for me and I just can't.

I wish I could pin it on someone other than Moshiri to keep the sun shining out of his arse and the hope alive - but the decision rests with him.

Keep getting told that Moshiri is magic off the field with paying off loans and whatever, but on the field we've gone backwards considerably under Moshiri.

He/his team don't fill me with confidence they can run a football club.
It seems to me Moshiri has gone all round Europe trying to find a manager other than Allardyce, threatened with legal action if he tapped up Silva anymore, he's done all he could, always going to be hard prising any top manager away from his club mid season.

Kenwright will be pushing for Allardyce, and because of the absolute state we are in we now we have to take the option that Moshiri binned off some weeks ago because he didn't want him longer than till the end of the season.

With respect mate, you've just reaffirmed my point - In second guessing you've made an excuse for Moshiri and pinned the blame on Kenwright.

There's a tendency for blues to see Moshiri as teflon, the good is him and the bad is Kenwright/Elstone/someone else. I can see why, Moshiri represents hope.

It's a fair assumption that no significant decision will happen without Moshiri's approval.

He can take up an option to increase his shares whenever he likes.

At this present time mate they are all bloody useless and it's not just the imminent arrival of SA, it's a plethora of things. 3 poor transfer windows resulting in selling our best player and not replacing him or his goals, the time it took to sack Koeman only to have no plan in place once that was done, zero communication with the fans other than odd statements through Jim White, Unsworth being hung out to dry despite his loyal service to the club, taking nearly 6 weeks to appoint a manager..... I'm sure there are plenty more. We may look back at this time and laugh at ever doubting Moshiri but right now he's as much of the problem and Bill and his lackys are.

no he doesn't make them over perform, he gets teams to barely keep there head above the water.

over-performing is what moyers did for 10+ years , getting a team on a shoe string budget 6th/7th place all the time.

This loser goes to a team, buys a load of crap players, gives them big fat long contracts, leaves the clubs and then they get relegated soon after dude to the fact they have a load of crap on the books, can't get rid and he gets off with a nice pay check.
His transfer activity can be managed.
I'll spoil the fun for you, he'll do absolutely nothing.
Little Englanders want a Brexit manager with typical British grit.
Being a narked remainer there is something to be said for British Managers. the best the country has seen were British and teams were better in Europe with British players. I really like good defending, good tackling and a bit of grit. Stuff the Stepover in my opinion, Prancing Pony football

Allardyce lounging by the poolside in Dubai and demanding this and that to manage Everton...sending his 'representatives', cant be arsed even turning up.

Where have I heard this before?

Can you imagine any top club with self respect going after a British manager freely available to see accepting a trumpet like Allardyce dictating to them like that...and getting £6M per year on the strength of it?

Joke club.

I'm fickle enough to move on and cheer big Sam!

I'd take organised football over no organised football any day of the week. The whole long ball thing doesn't bother me at all . Many people moan about Moyes style football, but for many years he had finishing around 6-7th, a place we seem a million miles off at the moment. If organisation, guts and determination is what big sam will bring. Well I'm all for !

Can't really argue with what you're saying here.

The whole thing is very embarrassing.

I can see Sam jetting of for weekends and excursions through the week leaving it to Sammy and the other fella to make a mince of it at FF.

When a manager cannot be arsed to get on plane and talk F2F to the club about becoming the next manager of Everton Football then that tells you all you need to know.

Honestly the fans would be better of running the club...there is no shame left in the game or at our club.

Not just a top club - can you imagine a multi-million pound business hiring someone at any level for SIX AND A HALF MILLION POUNDS and not even formally interviewing them???

Amazing.
