Everton reopen talks with Sam Allardyce

Allardyce lounging by the poolside in Dubai and demanding this and that to manage Everton...sending his 'representatives', cant be arsed even turning up.

Where have I heard this before?

Can you imagine any top club with self respect going after a British manager freely available to see accepting a trumpet like Allardyce dictating to them like that...and getting £6M per year on the strength of it?

Joke club.

Yep just posted the same...

With respect mate, you've just reaffirmed my point - In second guessing you've made an excuse for Moshiri and pinned the blame on Kenwright.
What else could Moshiri have done?, you tell me?

He sacked Koeman the day after Goodison emptied, he listened to the fans and sacked him.

Always going to be super hard to get a quality manager halfway through a season when they are at other clubs, I don't know what this fanbase were expecting?

He's tried to get Silva in, tapped him up and been threatened with legal action, offered 20m in compo to Watford, again, what else could he have done?

We are desperate, and desperate clubs turn to the likes of Allardyce.

The only play left for Mosh is to buy out Bill and his mates, sack off the hangers on around the club put in place by Bill and get a proper manager in the summer.

Nothing will be the same...

We are, but that desperation has come about under Moshiri.

Let's call a spade a spade - he's not the messiah he's a very naughty boy.

In all seriousness, in my humble view;

A football club shouldn't be letting a manager go without having a single clue who'll replace him
There's more football managers than Silva and Allardyce.
We shouldn't be so quick to pin the good on Moshiri and the bad on Kenwright and others - it's Moshiri's trainset now. He takes the good and the bad.

Where's the evidence of that? If we'd tapped him up then I'm sure we'd have heard from the FA by now.

We wouldn’t have been relegated under him had he stayed and Palace wouldn’t be sitting bottom

Look mate I can understand why some expect better for whatever reason at the minute it doesn’t look like you’re going to get what you want. I’m sure Sam will change your opinion and even if he doesn’t I’ve got a feeling you will bin him off in the summer regardless of how he does
But 12 months ago I would have assured you that Moyes was an upgrade on Allardyce, and told you of all the good things he did for us. I'd have said yes there'll be issues and you'll find him frustrating, but he'll keep you up easily, and maybe push you on further if you back him. And i'd have meant every word, just to be clear. How did that work out?

We have tried for a number of good quality managers, however most have not been interested or won’t be released by their club.
Only option left is Allerdyce and apparently even he has needed some convincing. Just shows how difficult it has been to try and get someone in.

Ofcourse we tapped him up, look at his interviews, he wanted to come here, no way we pursue him like we did without going behind Watford's back and asking him if he fancied it, that's how football transfers work and you know it.

We need to spend in January and i seriously worry about the type of players him and Walsh will target.

As I say this could get messy and expensive.

I am struggling to see at this point in time the type or indeed which players he will bring in . You ain’t going to get £30 -£40 million players wanting to ship up to this mess and as witnessed at the likes of QPR bring in too many players or the wrong players will only end in tears.

Oh joy!

Will there be a an announcement today? It could get very ugly tonight. Something full circle and poetic if it's Moyes' does us with the hammers while we are in this manager state.
