Had a look at that Minteh over the weekend for Brighton, we missed out there lids, he looked very impressive - preseason and all that mind.

Not necessarily, DCL would of probably taken his place in the squad with Wilson to be offloaded.

You mean to tell me Newcastle had a deal lined up the relied on highly injury prone wilson not being injured?

im more inclined to believe its DCL wage demands. Besides wasnt it reported by a well thought of sauce bobble or athletic?

Why would that cause the deal to fall through? We were paying £35m for Minteh so there was nothing from a financial perspective that was holding it up.
