You don't believe Dixon will be good enough for right back ?So the right and left back positions have been a major weakness for years and yet we haven’t replaced either in about 5 years.

I remember Jarrad was playing first team football for Carlisle at 16 (albeit in League 2) so whilst this lad played less at 17 he was in League 1 already

There is a reason that Patterson has not been in the team, the management team clearly do not trust him.We wouldn't even necessarily need a right back if only Patterson was developed properly, although his recent injury record has been a concern..
We could've then had him, Coleman & Dixon for the RB spots and Myko & Young for LB. Garner can also fill in a full back at the absolute least.
Are these not the kind of signings we have been asking for ?I’ll tell you what will solve our issues infront of goal:
Another centre back.
In a 4-0 defeat tooIt is only 1 game though mate.
No.Are these not the kind of signings we have been asking for ?
This is an academy signing just as Stones and Branthwaite were.
Was absolutely brilliant in those 6 minutes
But United would want 30m, that we don't have.McTominay would walk into this team. People look down on him because he’s not some exciting foreign name . He can win tackles and score goals, also has a bit of needle to him.
Agreed and my fear is Brighton target Young on SaturdaySo the right and left back positions have been a major weakness for years and yet we haven’t replaced either in about 5 years.
He might be to Jarrad Branthwaite what Mason Holgate is to John StonesAre these not the kind of signings we have been asking for ?

Indeed .There is a reason that Patterson has not been in the team, the management team clearly do not trust him.
Yet, last season they had no problem playing a younger Branthwaite at centre back so it clearly is not an age issue.
Not every player is good enough to play premiership football.
Think McTominay would be a great signing but don’t think United would sell to us because we won’t sell Branthwaite. If United came in with 60 mil plus McTominay, think we accept that all day for Branthwaite.McTominay would walk into this team. People look down on him because he’s not some exciting foreign name . He can win tackles and score goals, also has a bit of needle to him.
I’d we’re in for McTominay, someone’s getting sold.
