Football is only about money if you let it be about money.

For many of our fans, football is about enjoying a few hours with your mates at the weekend

For some people football is about watching Marine or Southport....tell me that's about money?

What about the non league footballer, or even the likes of West Cheshire or Sunday league lads? Lads who play in the league of Wales? Do they work all week train twice a week at about 9pm on a Tuesday & Thursday and then travel all over the region at the weekend for the money?

YOUR football world is about money....not mine.

Everton will be active in the final weeks of the transfer window and TEAMtalk can reveal some of their targets for the striker and midfield positions.

Couple of new names mentioned in this article

TEAMtalk can exclusively reveal that Borussia Dortmund’s Youssoufa Moukoko has been offered to Everton by his entourage. Although, there is yet to be any developments on that front after first contact.

The 19-year-old was expected to join Marseille this summer but that move is now close to collapse. He has interest from clubs in LaLiga, so Everton would have to move quickly to get a deal done.



Good goals to minutes ratio, looks like his career has totally stalled. They had Fullkrug and now replaced him with Guirresay (sp!) rather than playing Moukoko.

Cant help thinking they should have used him more as 2 years ago he looked like the sky was the limit.

Marseille were close with a loan & option so perhaps a move we could make.

Can he play out wide can see the club looking for another winger who could be 3rd choice striker with chermiti out injured. Is the type of deal we should be looking at on loan with option a risk but can buy if works out or send back if doesnt

Apparently its over 50 that could be considered for the playing list that has to be submitted to the PL.
However the squad list is 25 of which 8 must be homegrown BUT they can add as many U21s to that 25

BBC made up two potential XIs from their squad.... and the likes of Chilwell made neither

They will surely have to find clubs for quite a few players in the next fortnight, mostly on loan. That seems to be good for clubs like ours.

Even a simple thing like a squad training session, is going to be problematic for them. We've had issues with poor attitude in training previously, Schneiderlin and Mirallas come to mind, but we didn't have 43 players! There are going to be cliques in every squad, but any issue they have is magnified.
