Exactly. As soon as the contract is signed, and a few matches for a combined of 36 mins playing time, we all know what’ll happen.

To be honest mate, I don't see any actual benefit of most of the scouts, the ones watching really lower league or grassroots footy maybe or obscure leagues, but when you see we are sending a scout to watch players at somewhere like Porto or Roma, you have to do Der why they don't just watch the video of the games instead, we all know you see f all really of the game when in the ground anyways.

You see more in person than on TV. Unless you could somehow get a video that just focuses constantly on the one player you're looking at.

He's not going to be a starter.

He was available for pretty much all of the 21/22 season, he just didn't play. Same as 22/23, he was available pretty much every game until the end of Feb 23 and then he had his injury.

The bigger problem is that if we had proper leadership at director level the DoF would be empowered to overrule the manager and if the manager didn't get onboard with any long term plans to get rid of him.

But we don't and he isn't.

Keane very likely due to injuries, Young probable once available. The others, with the exception of Trippier and Ali, will happen sometime or other as they are squad members. Not sure why the need to take such a bleak view so early in the season.
