I would agree with the plan, because he will be gone at some point anyway, but I don’t trust anyone at the club to make good use of the money, or even get a game when they are here.

Problem is so late in the window if we did do this would have to over pay to get them

There might be ONE team willing to pay our 70m valuation, but I don't think it would be super popular.

No other club with that sort of money is in the market for a CB.
