Quite clear that Philips is on his way down now, I would stay well clear.

Loan maybe at a push...but no massive contract etc. We have seen this before.

Any loan for Philips would have to have several clauses written into it :

1 ; No visits to the Lobster Pot after midnight.

2 . Total ban from the Hot Wok.

3. Total ban from all Toby Carvery`s.

4. McDonalds loyalty card removed and returned upon successful completion of loan.

Honestly I swear some of our fanbase have less footballing knowledge than Farhad Moshiri (if that's even possible) I know we ain't flush with cash but some of the shouts so far this summer have been shocking.

I agree. We've been here before haven't we. Maybe pair him and Dele in midfield so we have a matched pair of ex england cast offs.

Just seen a notification that Everton have moved for Kalvin Phillips

….my concern with the likes of Phillips is them losing their desire to play once they have experienced the riches of Man City. It’s lots to do with attitude and I certainly wouldn’t risk putting him on a big bucks, long-term contract if he’s going to be available as much as Delph.

We’d need to be certain he has a point to prove but I think it’d be very high risk and we need to be ridding ourselves of expensive millstones.

Agree, would be a great option and we've seen with Palace and the success they've had with Wharton, Eze, Olise etc. that we should be targeting these lower level players. They're good enough to make the step up. Get in early.

Any player that can complete 1 slide tackle a game and throw
Hands from waist to shoulder height could
Replace Onana quite easily.

Why not both need more than one cm gives this lad time to get ready, is a player who would be worth us looking at with them going down aswell

We already offered another contract to Ashley young a player who can alter games single handedly....in a calimitous fashion probably cost us 6 points so of course they're contemplating bringing in another player who cost west ham at least 6 points as well because he was such a liability
