He actually had a spell of 9 goals in 10 games in the prem between 10th Dec and 3rd Feb so in far better form than the disaster of his first spell at Spurs. Two injuries in the run in disrupted things.

That front three of Richy-DCL-Gordon for a few months under Lampard feels a decade ago now. Some actual pace in the final third that could get the team up the pitch quickly.

Things is that pace is nullified when Richy goes to ground as soon as another player brushes his shoulder looking for free kicks.

The opposition then get everyone back and we are not to different to what we are know, a team that looks to set pieces as its main source of goals

Once Everton has touched you … even when we only show interest in a player it is enough for them to turn into a dud.
