Everton Summer 2024 Transfer Thread

If we’ve sold an extra few thousand shirts then we could’ve made that difference up that way though. Also we could have add ons coming in from previous transfers, Spurs might’ve owed us an add on for Richarlison hitting 10 goals for example. We have no idea what money has been coming into the club through other means than player sales. PSR isn’t just transfers.
We dont get money from shirt sales, as per the Kitbag deal.

But do you not think its strange that we have lashed Godfrey on a plane and getting him to Atlanta ASAP?

We clearly need sales before Sunday.

Nobody other than the club knows.

It's all guesswork, but evidently needed some sales in June.

I still maintain that if we didn't have shenanigans with Villa, or sell Godfrey/others - then Branthwaite would have been a Man Utd player this weekend for <£50m. The club have done well to prevent that - there's still a decent chance he's sold for big money after 30th.

Man Utd knew we were in trouble - they've cried like hell behind the scenes to force token letter/warnings etc.

I think we've also sold Goldfrey for less than we wanted - I reckon the comments from Ornstein that we'll keep him and let his deal run out before selling him for less is true. They'd have kept him if they had the choice. Dyche liked his versatility. But we've had to take a bit of a hit, just with PSR. We'd have done the same with Branthwaite for a bigger chunk.

Do the add ons for previous transfers go to Kitbag too?

I’m talking about the original post from Danny that said if we sell Godfrey we’ll likely still be a few million short. How would anyone know this?

so if Atalanta never came in for him we’d be back to points deductions next season? Seems too random, even for us

I'm hoping we're in calm waters. Doesn't seem to be a mass panic to sell.

Those bulbs at United haven't come back in for Branthwaite either especially when there's 2 and a bit days left.

Nobody knows this Mike.

D himself says hes just assuming.

I said a few days ago, I doubt anybody knows, not even Everton, I reckon we are gonna try right up to midnight Sunday, then we will sit back and pray.

He's 27, and proven he can score for clubs. He has a better goal per min than any of our players last season. Prolific in the championship;

Championship
43 Appearances - 25 Goals

Prem
37 Appearances - 10 Goals
33 Appearances - 8 Goals
32 Appearances - 8 Goals
Everton: 29 Appearances - 1 Goal
29 Appearances - 6 goals

^ League goals - he scored a couple more in the cup last season too.

Considering the fees going around - we should easy recoup £10m/recover what we paid. Especially factoring in loan fee last season.
You should be an agent!

I dont rate DCL but if we do sell him I'm hoping we bring in another Striker asap.

We cant go into the season with just Beto and Chermiti

Selling DCL seems the right decision, he is so limited and completely limits us to how we can play when he starts

I think for this alone, Kev has earned himself a 'get out of jail free' card with the fanbase... even if he ends up going later in the season for £70m+

Just needs to get a halfway decent striker... which seems to be his Kryptonite
