Maupay does have value but Brentford did not activate their £10m option on him which likely tells us other clubs know his book value is c. £4m and are not looking to pay much more than that. Sometimes you can squeeze more late window if teams miss out on other options. Sometimes you get left holding an unwanted French gif-lord.

I’m not sure that wouldn’t lead to problems for us with PSR. Seems like we’re on the limit at the moment

I would worry massively if the club is still making decisions that would affect them negatively with PSR when it comes to signings currently.

A while back I shared my view that I reckon we need/will try an sell £25/30m to be compliant.

Assuming Dobbin is £10m, and Godfrey is £12m, I still think we could be a little short of PSR. But I don't really know how significant Dobbin/Godfrey fees are, PSR wise.

Expecting then for us to still be a little short, I expect we'll see movement on Calvert-Lewin by 30th, or an academy player - one of the 'keepers perhaps, will move on.

We don't Michael Keane in any fashion...he should be sold and adequately replaced, which won't be a problem considering he's an absolutely shambolic footballer.

Speak for yourself. We're potentially losing Beto and DCL. Keane up front should strike fear into the hearts of every defender and keeper. The same way Keane strikes fear into our defence and Pickford when he plays.

Personal terms will already be agreed.

Provided no issue with medical, then yes and I think it'll help towards PSR. Just doubt it'll get us over the line.

If we’ve sold an extra few thousand shirts then we could’ve made that difference up that way though. Also we could have add ons coming in from previous transfers, Spurs might’ve owed us an add on for Richarlison hitting 10 goals for example. We have no idea what money has been coming into the club through other means than player sales. PSR isn’t just transfers.
