Everton Summer 2024 Transfer Thread

24/25 will be really tight for PSR so we will be desperate to sell DCL now if he won’t extend and Onana, with Branthwaite up our sleeves for next June. Once we get into BMD in the PL (showing a bit of confidence here) we will be able to breathe a little easier under either new SCR if adopted or continuing PSR.
How do you figure? We cut 50m off our books for 23/24, and we've increased revenue by 13m with the new shirt deal. Looks like we wont be even close to any PSR issues.

The year that is being replaced on the calculation is the 4m loss so it is a big job to get our loss down to match it. But with increased revenue kicking in this season plus all our major players still on the books it should be achievable.

PSR is on a rolling three year basis. To simplify a complex position we probably need to make a PSR profit in 24/25 to stay compliant on the 3 years ending then based on the best estimates for 23/24. Obviously there is uncertainty but The Swiss Ramble on Twitter/X is a very good source on this and football finance more broadly. He thinks we will need significant sales before 30/6/25 because of this even factoring in the new deal and squad trimming.

I am on my knees begging.

When I did my Wham List, Graham Bailey was the very worst offender of the lot.

He did call the Dwight McNeil transfer tho.
