Everton Summer 2024 Transfer Thread

Not to take us too far off topic but Barca are absolute losers now. One of the most entitled clubs in Europe who still can't sort themselves out even with La Liga bending over backwards for them. They're a club that thinks they have a divine right to success.
Is this not how all big clubs think? I wish we thought like this.

Got Palace all over him. I’d like to think we’d be pushing the new stadium axis to him but now that Olise has gone he’s a shoe-in there. Not pessimistic, just realistic
He's a London boy also, plus there upwards trajectory at the end of last season, and as you said, a ready made position for him with Olise going. It will be a hard pull

A real shame, maybe we’ll be happily surprised but I’m pretty much counting this one out now.

I do think Palace have the best pitch to him given their track record of developing players but for the first time in a while we at least have a competitive pitch ourselves in the direction the club is heading.

At the same time none of these intangibles might matter at all, his agent might just have dollar signs in his eyes and turn it into a good old fashioned bidding war.

If I was him I'd chose Palace.
I can see him picking Palace purely because he's a Southern lad. But from a career point, I'd still like to think Everton have more sway that Crystal Palace.

They're about to sell their two best players, and if they don't get their replacements right, I can see them struggling in the next few seasons.

Everton with a state of the art stadium, the Club size, wages, and hopefully better owners on the horizon, Everton can start competing, where we should be.

Not sure this point stands when he'd be one of the replacements
