If Newcastle genuinely ARE interested (and it’s only teamtalk as far as I can see) then he’ll go there anyway. As soon as things go public like this, others always swoop in as we’ve seen so many times. The best way is the under the radar stuff that gets to a certain point near completion before news breaks but that rarely happens these days unfortunately.
