Everton Summer 2024 Transfer Thread

Not being funny or anything

But surely if branthwaite and his agent have any kind of ambition then they must know Man Utd don’t offer them that jump in class his talent and ability should get in his next move

He has the attributes to be a champions league player already and he should be playing at the game’s highest level and challenging for the league

Manchester Utd haven’t challenged for the league in a decade and certainly won’t be challenging anyone in the top 4 seriously for a spot anytime soon

He’s best waiting it out

Whilst I fully agree, money talks unfortunately and they pay astronomical wages.

You misspelt money.

I hope we get new information about Minteh and Godfrey today. Ndiaye guess today is Ndiaye's announcement day too. Hopefully another positive day for us

Daily mirror apparently suggesting it’s might offer lindelof and wan bissaka towards a deal for Branthwaite.

Both good defenders to be fair and if there was a decent fee on top then it could be put towards other positions.

Branthwaite is exceptional though - and the way Utd have tried to go about signing Branthwaite makes me really not want to do business with them.
That’s a few days old now. And both AWB and Lindelof are crap. Which is why it’s looking likely they are off to Turkey for rumoured fees of under £10m.

If they were to be included, we would still need £60m on top of them and Man United won’t do that.

lindelof is 29, injury prone, a bit crap, has a year left on his contract and on crazy wages.

Wan bissaka is 26 missed 22 games last season due to hamstring injuries (which is a massive red flag for a player that relies on his pace), 1 season left on his contract and also on crazy wages.

Lets not allow United to palm off their dross onto us to bring down the price of our top prospect.

With the money wed save by not signing them we could get two really good prospects in on a quarter of the wages and who could make the club money in the future.

Whilst not amazing AWB is three times the player of any of our current right backs (as much as I love Coleman)

United will get top 4 next season if they get Branthwaite

Player swaps to reduce transfer fees never happen. Cos it's an option on Football Manager doesn't mean it's true in real life.
