Expect we need another defensive midfielder as a priority - we get webbed all over the shop without one.

Then another centre-back to replace Mina.

Shame Benitez landed us with Rondon - otherwise Gray, Myko, Patterson, maybe even Townsend help the squad.

Gomes, Holgate, Delph, Rondon, Tosun, Siggy, Lonergan, Gbamin, Kenny can all go. Mina might be better off in a different league too.

Not much transfer value in those and wages are a sticking point.

Personally I'd stick with Iwobi unless we could recoup a decent amount of his transfer fee - Keane and Godfrey too - we can't just keep on giving players away but obviously they need better competition. Coleman for another year as backup.

Next season needs to be stabilising for the club, selling our first team players and trying to buy Zaha is just asking for more of the same - keep the squad young and hungry like Moyes tried to build.

We would have won that game against Burnley if Tarkowski didn’t play. Got fed up with the number of blocks and clearances he made. I agree Moyes will be all over that signing and they’ll have European possibly CL football to offer.

They can have him nearly 30 would want a high wage and at least a 3yr deal.

Ampadu and Gilmour coming up together at Chelsea may not be a bad combo in central midfield -- if not a bit lightweight perhaps though quite 'snidey'.

The interesting other Chelsea players would be Broja, Colwill and of course Gallagher.

Surely we stand a good chance to do some business with them due to the Lampard factor.

I wonder if we could get away with buying a top centre back and a top central midfielder (Bremer + Gallagher) if we used the loan market and took in a couple of Chelsea players on loan.

Minimal but effective business.

You can't loan more than one player from the same team so we'd be capped at one Chelsea player.

I'd still take Zaha from Palace. He's scored another 11 goals from midfield so far this season. I think he's a better player than Richarlison and Gray.

There are so many things wrong with this idea. He's absurdly expensive. He's reaching the back side of his career. He's got 4 penalties mixed into the goals. He's not a midfielder unless you're considering someone like Richarlison a midfielder.

Just no. Younger, higher upside. The type of player we should be looking at is Olise although not actually Olise because Palace will rightly demand a fortune for him too.
