I can see Richy going . Especially given that he has now got a new agent .

If that is the case we can reinvest the money on 21/22 years old international on top of the free transfer above. However, Richy is so important to us he will cost a club record. I wish him to stay for one more season at least. Our new stadium is on the way.

He also just doesn't fit at all. He's excelling at Palace as the furthest forward of a midfield three. Chelsea play 3-4-3 and none of the roles in it really even remotely resemble what he's doing so well right now. Even if he's better than say Kovacic the way Kovacic plays makes way more sense both for Chelsea and honestly for Gallagher as it doesn't really make sense to shoehorn into something that doesn't take advantage of his best attributes.

Now to bring this on topic he would make a lot of sense for us if we're going to keep being a 4-3-3 team and God willing that is what we'll keep doing.

I think the only reason why he didn't leave last season was because the club asked him to stay for 1 more season .
I can imagine we will request a large sum for him .

Sort of, I think Iwobi and a Gallagher type could exist in the same midfield though with the right deeper lying player. You couldn't play Doucoure and Gallagher at the same time however. That's actually who he lines up with the most here I'd say. But Gallagher is like the billionaires version of Doucoure.

Im not saying for one second he will join us. But I think that’s how frank could line us up next season. A holding midfielder with 2 8’s either side but not 2 iwobi’s someone on the right who is a bit more box to box and has good defensive qualities. If iwobi is on the left, he has a quite a defensive left back on his side in Mykolenko, to maybe give him a bit more freedom.

While obviously patterson is very attack minded on the other side.

I think a top defensive mid would allow two more attacking midfielders.

I like doucoure but there are better and attainable players out there for his role.

I think he wants to move , as he has supposedly hinted in the past , but who knows for absolute sure .
He will still go to the World Cup, there is no doubt about that .
