There was a suggestion somewhere that Brands is recommending PSV try to buy him or as a minimum have a loan with an option to buy. Now that would be an odd decision, to let him go that is, but not one beyond our club making .

Mskes sense for Brands to want him at PSV especially if they have an option, I'm guessing he knows how much interest there was in the lad from clubs here, so if he can get him cheap develop his rep higher then likely he could sell him back for a huge profit in a few years - it's the PSV model really

Every little bit helps, but its not game changing at all.

As im at pains to point out, we had a terrible year, we lost USM funding and we finished 16th, which is roughly around 25m down on what we earned last season.

Which is probably around what we saved in wages from the players we released.

But yes, the sleeve sponsor is money we can add to the kitty, how much is anybodies guess, sleeve sponsors are anything from 2m-10m a season.
And when you think our main shirt sponsor is only worth 10m. We are likely going to-be the lower end for the sleeve sponsor.

The defensive metrics ar every good (though the pressures less so). However his numbers of ball possession, and carrying are quite poor.

I'm not sure he could be a disciplined 6 at this stage. Would probably suit being a roaming destroyer.

Just from limited YouTube watches, he's very reminiscent of Fellaini as a DM/CM all about size and physical assets/aggression over technical defensive mid stuff

I’d guess we are already factoring that 25 mil into payments for this years signings

You would imagine so. I genuinely thought it was the end of this season he moved, but Football Manager (of all things) set me straight and they're usually fairly well sourced on the structure (if not the actual value) of deals.
