With a better manager than when the damage was done, a much better CB,and a fit DCL and a fit PAtterson and an improving fast Myko and a few more signings to come inSo far, weaker than last season due to losing Richy and as nearly went down.

I did not know that, fortunately, they arentIf Juventus fail to finish in the top 4 then he’s coming back, just dropping that one in here.

Yep, it seems all our "deals" are with little upfront money and a lot in structured payments over the contract, hence no one has signed yet. Selling clubs will be wanting more money upfront and so I guess deal will be later in the window while they asses their better options. You would imagine so. I genuinely thought it was the end of this season he moved, but Football Manager (of all things) set me straight and they're usually fairly well sourced on the structure (if not the actual value) of deals.
Luckily the last time they didnt finish top 4 we still hadn't heard of the Arteta money.
Er, without sounding daft, if this lad is attracting those clubs, why arnt we keeping him?
Or is it the rulez or sommet with a 16 YO?
I think we should sign a player called Albert Kirkby just so we can do that chantLike @Noisy noise annoys says, just add his full name and I reckon you've nailed a boss song
Hot Dog, Jumping Frog, James Tarkowski
I reckon I'll be singing that all the way to work tomorrow mate lol
This is true but I’m concerned that they’ve been poor and getting worse every year for a while now. Season before last they finished 4th by a single point.
They tried to renegotiate the Kean deal last season when they were looking a bit dodgy for less money but at the end of this season. On account of every club in Italy being broke to one level or another. I'm reasonably happy we didn't bite on that as I really can't see them dropping out of the champions league places this year.

But we have a half decent centre back now I suppose.
