Why would Burnley accept that?

If they don't bounce back up to the PL straight away they could have financial issues with their ownership, in theory they've got parachute payments and all that this season, would be better for them to start off next season's finances with a near £20m boost straight away as they'd not have PL TV revenue or parachute payments or anything. At least that's what I'd guess.

It’s a difficult thing to assess. Some players are able to show a lot more in a faster league. He may just be suited to the English game.
