What makes you think that? Hes had a better season, I'd say they were similar in terms of potential though.

Honestly mate it's the eye test, you watch Gilmour and yup say v Liverpool the other sesson he looked great but he's also looked lost this season, so I'd say a guy who needs the right setup around to cover for obvious weaknesses he has (currently) to bring out his strengths, with Gallacher It's a different thing he just looks quality and looks rather like he doesn't need a system built around covering any weakness.

I'll probably be vaulted for this, but think the guy will end up with similar numbers to Gerrard if Chelsea actually go with him.

I can say with absolute certainty that we will not be getting Gavi or Gravenberch lol

If we stay up we need proper cover at LB, a new starting CB, RB, defensive midfielder and creative midfielder. If we sell either or both of Richarlison or DCL we'll need new forwards as well. Big job ahead, doubt we'll get everything we need.

It's a big shout but fair play for giving your opinion.

I don't think he's bad at all, but not sure I'd put him in that category. He more developed than Gilmour though and a more easy to fit in to the physical demands of the league, whereas you feel Gilmour would need the team built around him a bit (as Scotland do).

I just don't think we would have the money to bring Gallacher in at this point, unless they let us have him on loan for a year.

He’s gone backwards this season at Norwich. Yes he’s surrounded by dross but you’d think he’d stand out more.

He’s a player who dictates play, a player who will thrive in a team that wants the ball and try’s to control pocession and work it through lines, he always shows, always want the ball, thats the type of side I think Frank wants us to evolve us to. At some stage we will have to transition and recruit those type of players if Frank is going to stay.

He needs to improve the defensive side of his game, in some ways Norwich is a good learning expierence for him, learning whats it’s like to be under the Kosh and not always getting on the ball. Did young flash no harm last season. You learn nothing and you dont improve in most things in your career if you keep just doing the things your good at and don’t try and develop things that could be improved.

At around the same age Modric was being loaned to Dinimo Zagreb. ;)

Billy Gilmour stunk the place out for Norwich all season. For people saying thats because hes in an awful side and needs more of the ball i would gesture manically at the table and also how weve only put a run together once we abandoned possession ourselves.

The only positive would be Lampard will have already seen him in training and knows what he's about and his character. He'd be ok to grab as an experiment or project but I wouldn't hang our hopes for the season on him by any stretch

I think the fact that Norwich fans think Gilmour is the worst signing for years and Gallagher will be in Chelsea’s first team squad next season. There is an vast difference in their potential

I see it that Gallagher will play around 20 times for Chelsea, Gilmour will be in the Championship.
