If we don’t being any striking options before the weekend, I will come to the conclusion that hat the club are happy to be in the bottom 3 end of August and have once again sold their paying fans short due to gross mis-management right throughout the club once again.

For £50m I would sell Gordon personally as I think he is a good PL player but not going to be elite.

If I had to bet I would say that Gordon would end up back here in a few years after sitting on the Chelsea bench with very little game time.

With the £50m profit on Gordon (which could be multiplied across our accounts into £100m of spending easily, perhaps even more) we could feasibly get:

Terrier as a replacement for Richy
Broja or another striker
Gallagher first refusal option on loan
Gana

Considering where the club were at the end of last season, where every point could have been difference between survival and relegation, to be in a situation where the club is almost writing off points because we don't have the players yet is really frustrating.

Thing is if we keep Gordon and only add someone like Guirassy, then that side is getting relegated.
