He's reporting on a player he pretty much dismissed as an Everton target. He brought him into the conversation.

That doesn't mean he can't post about him without an Everton angle.

There are loads of odious journalists out there worthy of your contempt. Personally I don't see why you'd go after one who is, at worst, just not particularly good at their job.

Don't really understand the plan of bringing in disappointing under-21 options from other teams to potentially play while you loan out most of your in-house options rather than play them on the first team. And if he isn't going to play, then take the money to up the bid on someone that will play.

It’s investment though isn’t it. This kid will go for roughly what Onana did 12 months ago and he made Lille a stack of cash. If he’s someone we’ve been looking at get him in- we can’t always be the team one transfer further down the line paying the 30m.

I mean the fact we were willing to chuck 35 million at signing him when we haven’t got a pot to piss in should’ve maybe made him feel somewhat wanted….
