….not sure that matters. I‘ve only seen clips, a good age, a powerful runner & doesn’t take a step back. From that, I understand the interest.

….with limited spend, I think this window will be about prioritisation. We invested in a RB and need to live with that. Too often we’ve overloaded in one position at the detriment of the side as a whole.

A few pages ago, someone posted stats on Gallagher which showes he seemed to tail off 2nd half of the season...goals/assists totally dropped off.

Is that how it looked to you in terms of performance level?

Yes. Performance dropped off a bit from a very high level.

I honestly can't think of a recent Palace signing that has been an outright disaster the way some Everton signings have been.

Strange player him, if you look at his career, every club he has been at, the first season he is amazing (15 goals at Palace) then he just goes rubbish after that. He has been the same since he started out in Belgium.

Even if they have signed some flops, they’ve not been anywhere near the hugely expensive flops in terms of transfer fee and wages paid that we have.

Did you see the league table for total squad wages to predicted league position? Based on wages paid our predicted position was 8th and we finished 16th. It stuck out like a sore thumb against all the other teams wage spend and predicted position. That’s achieved through seasons of overpaying. Terrible.

max meyer, major prospect in germany signed on a free but they were paying him over 100k a week and made no impact whatsoever.
