Not sure really, havent really watched him.

His output seems good enough.

Would love a winger who chipped in with 9 a season.

But im certainly not dismissing him due to his age.

I'm fairly confident that will be the most goals he ever scores in a season.

Unsure why so many are wanting to sell Gray. In our position he’s a great option to have on the bench. Plenty of pace to bring on in the final stages of the game. We can’t get rid of everyone this summer and he certainly shouldn’t be on the list.

If we sold Gray for anything over £10mil id be thrilled.

Cornet is absolute dross. He was poor in France and the 9 goals for Burnley is an anomaly, hes never scored that many or even close to the 1 in 3 ratio in his career...

If we sell Gray and need a wide player we have to bring in Brennan Johnson. Failing that a Sulemana or Doku....just a direct quick player u21.

Think Cornet is lazy journalism but we should be all over that at £17.5 millions which is nothing these days.

Lets be honest yes Gordon is scouse but he also has very little end product and Gray is inconsistent.

Having him and Richarlison flanking DCL gives us more potency up top.

Cornet

In 252 games for Lyon he scored 51 goals and got 29 assists.

Hence: a goal or assist every 3.15 games. Not bad.

Plus he’s done well at Burnley.

Has done well at Burnley with the limited opportunities they get to score.

Cornet is a very decent player, does everything pretty well and is versatile. He had a couple of high profile misses at the end of season of course, but 9 goals in that Burnley side is a good return and he was their only dangerous player in most games. I don't really care how he did in France, to be honest, we have enough evidence of his play in the PL. £17.5m would be good business, but probably not for us...we have to be investing all available money into CM and CB.

If Richarlison leaves, we have to replace him and there would be more money available. But Cornet is not who I would spend that money on - unless the goal was to spread it around. If Frank really wants to persist with the 343 (I hope he doesn't) Mykolenko and Cornet on the left could be a really good combination. Similar to how Coleman and Iwobi were used in the last several games. I hated it but it would be similar.
