But you are so certain that they are all better than pickford. You cant make that judgement unless you have watched them a similar amount of times to have the evidence base to back up your assertions. And I would expect, you probably watch them in a full game every now and again but otherwise just see the match highlights.
It's also why statistics are helpful. But those aren't allowed right?

Assuming Tarky is done, we need 3 midfielders (to play together in a midfield 3 of a 4-3-3) and then a replacement for anyone who is sold to fund those midfielders.

Then it's about trimming the squad of players who add nothing. This part will be the hard part.

anything in terms of squad upgrading or buying youth over this will be a huge huge bonus.

The old guys still will be more susceptible to muscle injuries
Some will, some won't, depends on many many variables and previous injury history and diet etc etc. Theres lot of stuff comes into it. We have an appalling approach to player fitness at the club and it goes back to the days of Martinez and his odd approach to preseasons.

extreme example to make a point but Ronaldo is pretty old and honestly I don't recall him being out for long with muscular injuries.

it's as much to do with your self care routine (insert tugging off joke here) as your age.

I mean, allan was 29 in the season we were talking about. Hardly like he was coming into finch farm on a mobility scooter.

We also had injuries to a significant amount of younger players as well, like we did last season. But he wants to focus on one of the 'older' ones to prove some garbage argument.

Minimum we need for the midfid is a good DM who has physicality /power and is good on the ball and a box to box/creative midfielder. I don't see much movement till sales mind you. We should look at the French/German leagues or at the championship there are some gems down there.
