Because 1. United only decided to let him go last week. 2. Forest bought in about three CMs by then. 3. Rumour was united may loan him late in the window not sell - but Forest can't loan from united this season as they already loaned in their keeper. 3. The player may have wanted a better and bigger team than forest.
