There are more creative players in the world than James and CoutinhoOur fanbase is always doing it
Dont want Benitez not good enough
Dont want Ings/Zaha not good enough
Dont want Coutinho not good enough
People need to realise where we are as a football club - we have one creative player in the whole squad who is looking like he's off. We have Iwobi and Benard as wide players, a crocked Tosun as back up striker.
Who knows if we'll sell all three, it wouldn't be the first time Everton did something that makes no sense at all.
I wouldn't consider selling him this year, our midfield contributed a paltry amount of goals last season and Richarlison is bang out of form. It could be a very long season, look how poorly we did when DCL stopped scoring at the end of the season. There is no goals in this team, so taking out the only player who did contribute on that front seems like madness to me. They'll probably sell him tomorrow.
I've not understood it for a long time, but since we signed Gilfi Klassen and Rooney in the same window all of whom play the same position I've been totally perplexed.True enough, does anybody understand it?!
Maybe, but who? I'm all for punts on strikers who have never played in the PL before but not without at least one striker who has done it before in the squad. There are far too many examples of strikers who were banging them in in big leagues in Europe then fail to do so in the PL. Even Shevchenko flopped (relatively) over here.Of course.
I can't see sense in selling all 3.
But if a decent big for DCL came in, could we add goals with 200m? I certainly hope so.
Really? I would rather keep him as I think he had an disappointing season but I think he will be better this season, he is one of our better players. But if there is a good 60m bid I can see him going too..I think I can say with absolute certainty that Richarlison will be here next season.
It's not that Coutinho isn't good enough, if we could reasonably expect 30 full games a season for him I'd be up for it. However, he had two very bad injuries last year, he's in the autumn of his career, he'll want massive wages and Barca will want a big fee. All of that taken in the round makes this too high risk for me. Our wages to turnover is approaching 100%, it's just not sustainable. Our fanbase is always doing it

The problem is that abroad there is only one club that would be in a position to pay that kind of money for Richarlison, and they are trying to loan another one of our young forwards at the moment.Really? It is but, based on his record, I have little faith.Thats the job of the DOF to find one.
I wonder if we aren't considering selling either DCL or Richarlison (for an appropriate fee) to give us some FFP wiggle room. It's obvious that we have huge holes in our current squad, and according to some rumors we're up against it with FFP. The two up top are probably our most sellable assets, and would allow us to address the deficiencies elsewhere. I hope that isn't the case, as I like both players. We will not sell all 3 though will we?
If we sell him for over 60m, play Richarlison centrally and hope he can get back to scoring 15+ league goals a season, and use the money to spend £200m+ on other players, it's an option for consideration, no?
