Yeah, but I remember all the "playing" he did for us in the past in an Everton Shirt,Yeah reality for him is if PSG don't pay and we can't sell him elsewhere he's playing for Everton again
Well we're at the point now where we can acknowledge the management was crap right? Because it was crap. He's a good prospect still and like DCL I have confidence he'd score goals in an attacking team. Which makes it a shame about who we made our manager now.Yeah, but I remember all the "playing" he did for us in the past in an Everton Shirt,
I think Bolasie before his injury was a better player than Iwobi.I assume you had the same argument for signing Iwobi in the first place then. Is he better than Bolasie? Then yes I'll take Iwobi no problem.
I don't think Carlo's performance as Everton Manager is now retrospectively "crap" just because he left for Madrid.Well we're at the point now where we can acknowledge the management was crap right? It's not retrospectively crap it was crap in the moment too and now that he's left we don't have to cling to hope that it'll be good and act like he was doing well. He was crap. Beginning to end.I don't think Carlo's performance as Everton Manager is now retrospectively "crap" just because he left for Madrid.
But I agree it is a shame that RaFail Beneathus is our new manager, it's a major step backwards. The service into the Kean wasn't great when he played for us the first time, it will be a lot worse without Hammy Rodz and Richarlison.
Is a new RB actually a 'priority' I'd say the priority is getting more goals into the team. Should go for Danny Ings maybe.
Richarlison is away, he's got the extra month away so he won't have to come back. His Agent will be sorting out a move as we speak. It's not retrospectively crap it was crap in the moment too and now that he's left we don't have to cling to hope that it'll be good and act like he was doing well. He was crap. Beginning to end.
Service will be poor with Richarlison on the wing too. He's not a creative player.
So we eschew a loan fee in the hopes that a player who was previously not good enough for us can find the willingness to put the work in to make improvements in the right areas, and also hope that the defensive mindset of the manager somehow changes to accommodate this massive question mark of a player?Well we're at the point now where we can acknowledge the management was crap right? Well I think with the right manager all of our attacking players could show more. But we didn't hire that guy.So we eschew a loan fee in the hopes that a player who was previously not good enough for us can find the willingness to put the work in to make improvements in the right areas, and also hope that the defensive mindset of the manager somehow changes to accommodate this massive question mark of a player?
Has Sigurdsson recaptured his Swansea form yet?
Has Iwobi done anything to suggest he’s the player we hoped we were getting?
I don’t know where this assumption comes from that Kean would suddenly become good enough if we were to decide not to give him the (loan) move he wants. Admittedly, it COULD happen, but if I were a gambling man I’d say his head would drop to the extent that even if he were to show a willingness to improve, it wouldn’t manifest in any way that would ultimately be of benefit to us and so all we’d end up with is a year’s worth of salary expenditure for precisely zero contribution.
