Not that fussed myself on Olise but for £8 million its a no brainer when we have the likes of Siggurdsson, Slomes, Benard and Iwobi at the club.

Selling a Benard or Slomes on 80-100k+ a week for a few quid and replacing him with Olise on probably about 40k a week is the sort of business Brands should be doing.
You can't sell players if no-one will buy them

I dont believe we couldnt sell Bernard and Gomes for £5-6 million.

We paid £8.5 million for Delph who is fit for 3 games a season.

The problem is Brands asks for unrealistic money - £20 million for Tosun, £50 million for Kean, £10 million+ for Kenny last season was it?

No one is paying those prices.

Been one of the standout players at Copa and we want rid. I'd rather we keep the boy fit he's our best defender.

Agreed. We should definitely be keeping him. I don't believe that there is a lack of interest from other clubs either. Mina is a big name and good quality. If there is a lack of interest, it's because most clubs can't afford him.

Writing off a 24 year old centre half sounds premature to me.

You have been looking at Zat's posts too much.
While it doesn't apply to all Center Backs , a lot of top level defenders don't reach their peak till their late twenties . I remember a time where a certain young defender named Distin was only a decent defender . He definitely reached his peak later in his career then it nosedived .

Not surprised we haven`t signed anyone yet, we all know we will be waiting till deadline day to sign some cast off.

Really the board should be splashing the cash to sign good players to appease fans after the aberration to appoint RB.
