Would anyone take Willian? Decent player and would improve our wing options. Maybe not quite as pacy as we need though
Absolutely not

He basically played as a strikerSigurdsson?
Scored 14 goals in 2018-19 according to wiki - 13 in the league one in the league cup. Think only 2 of those were pens.
The problem with players like Willian will be high wages and probably large signing on fee as well , even if there was no transfer fee.I'm not saying I'd take him at all, he's just an option and wanted to see other people's opinion
I think ultimately he's too old, another Walcott-esque signing
I mean to put a counter, 35m quid is not premium rate for him by any stretch. I'm not saying it's a good deal, but it's a big reduction on peak value.
So they over priced him both years because he isn't as good as they made out. Why would it then be any different now?Yeah exactly, Napoli turned down 50 mil for him a year ago, 2 years ago they were turning down 70 mil for him.

That's if anybody like City or PSG has the balls, and wealth, to take on UEFA in the courts. In fairness though the EU's court (CAS a European court) has thrown it out. Anyone who has any involvement of the EU's anti-competitive regulations around the procurement processes etc will know FFP just won't stand up in that legal framework.
There may be a question around the PL rules, as I'm not entirely sure where the highest sovereign court would be, and if it's still the European court of appeal.
30 years old, no Prem experience and after a 3 year contract on stupidly high wages,no sell on value. Everton written all over this.Signing a 'past his prime' Koulibaly at a premium rate would be peak Moshiri-era Everton
Stats for this. I'd be interested to see it.
Totally forgot about that Markelo and see he's been with us over 4 years and is now 22! Wondered who was gonna replace Pennington/Garbutt !Just looked at the squad on the official site, so many players in that collective who will be elsewhere by the end of the next window.
Just the loan returnees is 9 in total and it’s hard to see too many of these being here.
