He'll miss at least 3 games you feel which is annoying as we have a good start and could have done with him in getting points on the board.
Proper selfish by the player in all honesty.
It's his choice to play a second tournament so I don't agree with him getting an extended break. In most jobs, people get a fortnight off in the summer at most, so I don't see why he should miss more than a couple of games. He will probably be off to more internationals in September so it makes no sense that we would rest him after those matches.

We've been trying to get rid of those (andothers for the last couple of seasons. Nobody wants them without us paying up their contracts.
We could probably get very small fees, or at worst, loan them out for their final years and save the wages.
I think a lot of our summer plans were based on selling Kean for big money so that could be a problem if we don't find a buyer. Maybe we need to dip into the loan market ourselves.

We can't find a buyer for anyone, even those we don't want to sell. Meanwhile Beneathus is signing up players who aren't as good as what we already have because they are cheaper. They are only cheaper if we can get rid of some players.

We’re rightly addressing the wings but despite the summer of 28257 number 10s not so long ago, our options through the middle are now really uncertain. I can’t see us playing a 433 so we probably will still have a number 10 on the pitch. Brom would still want about 25 for him though. With our current penny pinching, I can’t see it happening but live in hope. We still need a RB, backup striker on top of all that as a priority. Interesting link though…

if there is a competition for delaying new arrivals then surely we would win it. Begovic was done Friday/Saturday. Surely we had all the documents yesterday to announce him. Same probably for Townsend: Thursday at the earliest and Gray probably just before we take the field in Florida lol
If he doesn’t get some sort of break he will get exhausted and probably be more succeptable to injuries. It’s actually in our interest to make sure he has some sort of break.
