Everton Summer transfers 2021

Brighton have built up a debt of hundreds of millions of pounds to get a regular 16th placed finishes. Selling their two best players this summer might well relegate them.

Guna get some stick for this....but.....IF James leaves, I would like Lingard. I know that sounds mad, but that Lingard at West Ham was proper quality.
Not for me. It’s gonna take more than a decent 6 months at West Ham to prove he’d be worth the money united would want.

He’s spent the last 6 years or so being a proper banter player.

Tino off to Brighton. Must be nice for them to have 2 right backs they could easily sell for 30+ million after getting them for 5 mill each. When it comes to transfers and how the club is ran, they're everything we're not.
Relax mate. The first one had about 7 good games last year and this new one hasn’t even had a sniff of first team footy yet. I’m sure that few million quid in profit will come as scant consolation when they plummet to the Champo.

I think people are mis remembering last season, to say he was injured half the time is just wrong, he played 26 games last season across all competitions with 6 goals and 9 assists. We don't have anyone in our side who can do what he can do. If we wanted a player who did it, with a better injury record, we would need £50m easy. If we were to sell him, what do you think we would actually get for him? We signed him for free and he has 1 year left on his contract, we would be lucky to get £10m, realistically who do we sign for £10m who will contribute to 15 goals a season from midfield?

We need to make use of James this year and see how it goes, if he does well we can try to extend his contract, if not he will probably go on a free, but it just doesn't make sense to sell him
£10m plus his wages off the books makes sense.

I wouldn't sell, but there is a scope for it.

If we're going to build our team around DCL it makes sense to get another target man like Rondon in, in case of injury, suspension, tiredness and loss of form. I still would have liked Giroud but I suspect he either wouldn't sit on the bench or his wages are too high.
He was Koeman's ideal replacement for Rom.
Turned us down several times over the last 3-4 years because his wife was against it.

18 goals in 133 games at Utd. More famous for saying Beans or dancing.
nearly 29. And they probably want 30mil

what about the sell on value

That would be a typical Everton signing. £20million, reverts back to his usual form. Stuck with his 100k+ wages for 4 years.

Rinse and repeat.

Have Sigurdsson, Iwobi, Delph, Walcott, Bolasie, Schneiderlin taught you nothing?
