i get they have very rich owners but our commerical deals and revenue are much higher and they've spend bucket loads since being promoted

Agreed.
If Moshiri injected £150mil and we signed 4 top players then what punishment would we face?
Wolves got a european punishment so they couldnt have as many players registered for the squad.
We'd be surely better off with a smaller but high quality squad anyway.
It is almost certainly that sort of wage. Someone posted it was £80k a week on here and FB92 was falling over himself to say it was a great deal at 80.Where is $80k a week coming from??, heard around the 50/60k mark.... from the normal news now brigade
Need to see it to be sure. I personally doubt it but would still be 40k a week cheaper than Bernard and betterIt is almost certainly that sort of wage. Someone posted it was £80k a week on here and FB92 was falling over himself to say it was a great deal at 80.
Bespell FFS man.I see zero issue with signing Gray and Townsend to be spell players
Three or four years ago, Rondon was terrible for Everton.rondon 3/4 years ago yeh...rondon now as back up? its a maybe at the most
I get some of what you’re saying mate, but your first word is doing an awful lot of heavy lifting. Not overly enthused with the signings to date, but I’m seeing the dim outlines of a plan being executed. Living in hope!Other than the stadium Moshiri has pretty much made a pigs ear of this club, we are now further away from the top or European places than when he came in all whilst spending 1/2 billion quid.......
I think you`ll find that is....... EVERTON THAT!!!!
Now we are on to buying Poundland players who dont improve us....
Good lord can we put a NSFW button on this or somethingThree or four years ago, Rondon was terrible for Everton.
To his credit, he was horrified by and deeply contrite for it.
A bloated wage bill, we’ve potentially knocked well over 30mil off the wage bill so far. If you count Bernard and maybe another 5mil if a certain player is sacked.
That’s not counting what has gone on the wages, with the 3 signings and yet manager abs his team, but I’d imagine we’re well on course to knock a hefty chunk off it this summer.
i can't believe how long ago that was alreadyThree or four years ago, Rondon was terrible for Everton.

But we could though...how sad would that be.We won’t though
The whole world knows that apart from about 8 blokes on here
We aren't challenging for the top positions in the league in 2022. And if we don't get that through our heads this summer we also won't be in 2023 or 2024. It's a long term climb that we need to take step by step. Or specifically Moshiri needs to get through his head.If we want to "challenge for the top positions in the league" as Moshiri says, we still need a:
Right back
Centre back
Right forward
Centre midfielder
We have until the end of August to bring in those 4 starters.
