Everton Summer transfers 2021

I'll give a dif view.

Richarlison can go if he wants out and is easily replaced. Last year he wasn't no where near his normal levels and sulked most games.
Mina i rate. He is rather injury prone and does get caught out due to his lapses of concentration. Again replaceable and i'm sure he would sign an extension. Moreover, we have the king Godfrey.
Allan and James have just turned 30

We purchased the players you're worried about leaving, so there is an indication we know how to buy them.

Positiveeeeee
All of our players are replacible, every single one of them, its the sign of a well ran club!

Only problem is i dobt trust the club to replace our good players with better players

The problem is no one wants our deadwood - iwobi Davies Delph etc - any link is just paper talk. Salaries are too high no doubt. One big mess of epic proportions
No one is touching the bigger teams deadwood.
Lingard, Perriera at Utd
Drinkwater, Barkley, Zapacosta at Chelsea
Arsenal have resigned to loaning theres out.
Even City are struggling to shift Bernardo Silva.

None of our deadwood will be gone unless its a loan! They will all be here for the remainder of there contracts

Imagine having a squad so packed that Lingard, after being one of the players of the season last year, is deadwood. I’d have him all day long, was brilliant under Moyes.
Same goes for Bernardo obviously!

Looks like James and Kean are training away from the squad per todays reports.

I find that incredible when Iwobi, Delph and Gomes are still on the books.
Rafael press conference today will hopefully answer some of the questions surrounding James, Kean, the fitness of DCL and Richarlison and our transfer market positioning.

Let's hope the journalists actually ask some cutting questions.

People mature at different rates. Only write him off after he turns up and still looks [Poor language removed] after 20 games.
Yeah it's probably wrong to write him off. But at the same time it's hard to blame people who aren't getting excited at the signing.

Yes players mature differently but it's fair to say that most have shown by the age of 24/25. JJK for example. I've supported him over the years but even I admit time has run out for him now.

I find it incredible that two players, who are still on the books and can improve our team, would not be training with the main part of the squad.

If it's true, regardless of their actions we shouldn't be allowing it, let alone facilitating it.

I think it's straight forward with James & Kean They don't want to be at Everton so it would be a bit silly of us to play them and then potentially they get an injury and then they don't get a move due to it.
If we don't move them on before the window closes, I fully expect them to be in contention for a starting place

So we potentially lose first 3 games before deciding to consider using the whole squad. Fantastic.

Logically, I understand the part of minimising risk if you're primary intention is to sell, but they could (well, should) still be in contention for the bench.

It's important to note that the rumour may not be true so this is all conjecture, but asking two players to train away from the main squad is counter-productive.

You're losing two available player, who may not move on, and showing that by sulking you can manipulate a situation to their own ends - nigh on strike.

Even if the plan is to sell, we could at least still get them to train with the squad and actually attempt to thaw the ice with an arm around the shoulder.

We're our worst enemy at the moment. Beating Southampton should be a first and foremost consideration at the moment.

It not a meltdown. But I dont think any everton fan should be content with midtable. Ever. I'm not saying you or anyone else is but we have not improved much since last season squad wise. The idea that gray or Townsend are going to improve us. Well I'll stop there on that. Added to that the top 6 have strengthened again to stretch further away in to the far off future leaves many evertonians very dissapointed.
We are a mid table side and have been for a while. Everyone wants us to be better, but with the current resources and squad, I doubt we can do better. That’s just reality and self preservation. There is nothing you or I can do about it.

Ideally that would happen, but we don't know what's gone on and how disruptive these two players may or not be. It's the same with incoming transfers you'd like to think we'd have had the majority of it done by now. Obviously that's not the case and we're going to be scrambling around on deadline day, then integrate them in to the team takes time also

The sad thing with Everton is the plan is always bad, that's assuming they have a plan at all
