Everton Summer transfers 2021

Davies was one of our better performers in the second half of last season. The stick he gets is ludicrous.

People can did him out for not having the quality, but nobody can say the lad doesn't care about Everton.
Yeah he cares- fair enough. But you need more than to care about the club. He’s just not very good. If we want top 6 or higher then we need better (not that I think we’ll finish top 6).

He can do a job coming on for 15/20 at the end of games, but with suspensions and injuries across the season I just don’t think you can rely on his ability.

We finally had a PL functional side not a team needing to carry 2-3 slugs in the side.

Replace Coleman and bring in a top quality wide player with pace and ability and we will look much better all round.
Good to see a total change in action after the game went flat. Other options don’t have a second gear so as soon as we go 1 down/ have a bad spell, there’s no getting out of it.

Yeah need a RB and a few others but good to see us look a lot more athletic

Still need 2 players and 3 if Kean leaves, or 4 if Kean and a central defender leave.

Right back and wide player still needed and then possibly another forward and defender.

We need movement right now. Just because we won isn't a reason to not strengthen. It should be an encouragement to strengthen with a result on the board.

Yep, looked at that bench yesterday and thought 'we're knackered'

We obviously can’t afford him but I really do like St Maximin. Baffles me that some think he’s rubbish.

He looks indisciplined...been everywhere this game ball hogging in deep positions, running into players when a pass was on.

Incredibly frustrating.

Fabulous cross of course but a maverick rather than a team player.

Brands has even given up signing youth talent. So so weird man... But in other news linked to this fella:

Came from here:

Not sure how he would know...

He'd be really cheap though, maybe even 3-4M or on loan. Biggest issue is whether he can get anywhere near top form again after snapping his leg.

In agreement with you if we can afford to spend decent money on a young player that is already gold enough but with space to improve, but if not someone like Arias would be fine for a couple of years and a low cost improvement.
I agree. It is a cheap short term fix but as long as it's only a loan I think its not a bad idea.
