Theyve bought well but Grealish feels a big loss to me. If the Watford game is evidence I'd still say they have a bit to go.

Watford were perfectly set up to exploit the issues they have. Matt Targett was a mess and the midfield doesn't stop counters.

The people who were hired in the last 5 years are the problem. They either took the piss (Koeman and Ancelotti) or were not good enough (Silva and Alardyce) or completely useless (Brands).

Stadium aside, none of what you said has reflected on pitch performance which for us fans, is what it's about, he also brought in Brands, Allardyce, Silva, Koeman and a shed load of pretty useless footballers, I think that trumps your assertions 10 fold fella.

We really cant call Walsh. Defo he signed players like Gueye and Lookman - which are Walsh-type signings - but we dont now how much he wanted players like Klaassen...who was Koeman's neighbour once, or Sigurdsson who Koeman had always shown interest in.

If I were to guess I'd say that Walsh didn't do as bad a job as some here would like to suggest.

I don’t understand why we want McNeil, he plays on the left, crosses the ball in, has a dead right foot, but we have Richy on the left, he doesn’t fit in.
